I was at a restaurant with my family, had a great meal, and then the bill arrived with service charges and taxes that nobody mentioned at the table. We paid more than we budgeted. I noticed this wasn't just my experience — it was happening to families all over Chakwal, and it was quietly putting people off dining out.

So I decided to do something about it. I started visiting restaurants personally, photographing their menus, verifying their prices, and building a platform where anyone in Chakwal could check exactly what they'd pay before they even left home. No asterisks. No fine print. No surprises.

We believe a restaurant guide is only as good as the honesty behind it. Here's exactly how we work:

Personal Visit or In-Depth Research

For most restaurants, I visit in person as a regular customer — no free meals, no prior notice to the staff. I pay my own bill and sit where anyone would sit. For restaurants I haven't visited yet, I do thorough research: talking to regular customers, checking recent reviews, and calling the restaurant directly to verify prices.

Menu Photography & Price Verification

I photograph the actual menu and cross-check prices against what staff quote over the phone. Where service charges or GST apply, I note them explicitly so there are no mathematical surprises on your bill.

Honest Rating Across 4 Criteria

Every restaurant is rated on Food Quality, Value for Money, Service, and Atmosphere. A place with average food can still score well if the value is exceptional. A visually impressive spot that overcharges gets marked down — no exceptions.

Regular Updates Every 15 Days

Menus change. Prices go up. Restaurants close and new ones open. I review and update every active listing at least every two weeks. If you spot something out of date, message me on WhatsApp and I'll fix it within 24 hours.

I personally handle every restaurant listing. I visit, verify, photograph, and write — then update regularly to keep everything accurate. This isn't a content farm. It's a one-person mission to make dining in Chakwal more transparent and enjoyable for everyone.

Every price on this site is personally verified. If you visit a restaurant and the price at the table is higher than what we list — message me on WhatsApp immediately. I'll investigate, confirm with the restaurant, and update the listing within 24 hours.

I also promise never to accept payment from restaurants in exchange for a better rating or a featured placement. The order of listings and the scores assigned are based entirely on the quality of experience a diner can expect. That independence is the foundation of this guide — without it, none of this is useful to you.
